Discovering Devon - A Guide to Some of the Top Attractions

Devon’s Top Attractions, part of the Devon Association of Tourist Attractions, represent the very best quality assured visitor attractions throughout the county of Devon. Members include award-winning steam railways, impressive stately homes, narrow gauge trams, farm adventure parks, zoos, museums, and more. They must pass rigorous entry criteria and regular inspections to earn their DTA badge so visitors can expect high-quality service.

Plymouth in Day!

After four attraction-packed days at Devon's Top Attractions Showcase in April, Sales and Marketing Executive, Sarah added on an extra stop and headed to Plymouth to check out their offerings for coach groups. Her first stop was the Crowne Plaza Plymouth to check out a hotel we regularly use for Christmas breaks.

''The Crowne Plaza enjoys a stunning setting looking out to sea over Plymouth Hoe and it’s easy to see why it is a popular base for Christmas tours.'' said Sarah.

A City Break in Liverpool

Originally the Royal Insurance Building, the Grade II building on the corner of North John Street is now home to Aloft Liverpool Hotel. Its city centre location makes it ideal for a short break in Liverpool. In early February, Kim, Elise and Kate from the office headed to Liverpool for the weekend to celebrate Kim’s engagement and enjoyed the hospitality of the Aloft first hand. Here’s what they had to say . . . .

“I loved our stay at the loft Liverpool last weekend,’’ said Kim.
