We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Shaun Read to the Coach Tourism Association board, further enhancing Ashley & Newey in the place of the coach tourism community. This follows the CTA annual general meeting held in Llandudno on 22nd May 2023. Shaun will sit amongst other coach tourism industry leaders to contribute to and advocate on behalf of its members.
Ashley and Newey are delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Briggs as their new Sales and Marketing Executive.
You may already know Sarah from her role as Reservations Administrator, having joined the company in October 2017. Yes – she’s the one that makes sure those rooming lists get to the hotels on deadline! From April she will moving over to join the Sales Team – although she will still be on hand to support the reservations role going forward.
On one day 25 years ago an old friend, Ashley came round for a family barbeque. Talking about the young Ashley & Newey he nearly choked on his burger, I thought I better help this guy out and wacked him across the back.
The next day I made my first call to Bernie Miles at Galloway Travel and followed up with an appointment. He said I like what you are doing, its different, a complete package, as I call it Oven Ready.
